I can be body beautiful at any age with Wacoal.

People say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.
But I think beauty is how you define it - how you bring yourself.

Women of today should know their bests, their flaws and imperfections, what to highlight, what to show. And that to have their their own sense of style. And more than that, to know how to bring it.

I chose this pair of undergarment because I love wearing dresses with silk or thin fabric. I hate having VPL and so, this seamless underwear would work best in it. I also love wearing loose top with wide collar, that would require me to use a strapless bra. I like the one above because it brings a neat fit to a woman's body with it's soft shape.

We all grow and we all age. I think it's just important to know your body. Because beauty is not living with the world's standards, but about how you bring yourself, and how you stand high confident with what you have.

Be body beautiful at any age with Wacoal. :)

Deuxofakind: Stage Sister (Jel and Janelle Style)

Stage sister.
When apart from your stage mother, stage dad and stage sister, you have your best friend, supportively sitting on the front row taking photos or being the first one to hear what you have to say...

My first time to lead worship in Feast BGC

Janelle's dance concert in Ateneo Med School

October 13, 2012
Milestone. There's no other word for this. And this day will be as important as my half-birthday. This particular Saturday is when I was assigned to lead worship in Feast BGC. There are many things that I dreamed of becoming in my life. Leading worship is NOT one of them. Not that I don't want to, but I just never thought I could or that I was worthy of such task.

But like I said in my story before I started the worship, with the amount of sins that we have we may always think we're never worthy of anything. But God does not look at us that way. In His eyes, we'll always be worthy. We will always be chosen. Thus, my October 13, 2012. :)

Ren, Bebe, Jed and of course Janelle were all there. All in front center.

That's my support system right there! :)

Should you be curious of my line up, we had...

Opening Song: Promises by Desperation Band
Worship:
Reflection Song: Jesus be the center by Israel Houghton
Response Song: Your love never fails by Jesus Culture

Thanks for attending the service sister. Me loves you! :*

And of course, Ren and Jed too! :)

Will never forget this first time.

Spending all of my Saturdays with these people for the whole 2012, some random Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and them being the people who always believe in me, made me realize that they're absolutely more than just my community friends. They're my family. :)

Kirin dinner! <3

Family + Support System

You made this rollercoaster-y 2012 full by being present in my every milestone. Speechless sister, you make me. :)

And I thank you for blocking this particular Saturday. We may not always hang regularly, but I know you are guys I can always run to. :)

And though the schedule of med students is one that we would call "madugo", the students know that their load in their freshmen year is not madugo-enough. So I guess this is why Janelle grabbed this perfect chance to join the Ateneo Med Dance Group

Kung maka-project talaga! :) Hahaha! Lovette!! <3

Presenting... Batang Janelle.... *snap* Matandang Janelle.

Magic show talaga to. How Janelle can transform her looks by the use of certain clothing pieces. :)) HAHAHA

You totally remind me of Emma Watson in Perks of Being a Wallflower ;)

Super pretty projections! I super love it! <3

After her set, while at the backstage or viewing deck, Janelle texted me for post-performance comments. Hahahaha! Funny cos though her number seemed promiscuous, (Okay, omit seemed because it was promiscuous.) the next dance number was crazier. :)) Dance interpretation of sex. Oh was I so glad that my sister wasn't put in that dance number. Hahaha!

And the closing dance number with her red lipstick and red nails :)

Janelle with the Burlesque guys and girls

TOO MUCH LOVE <3

Photographer for a day!

with Abi, Janelle and Tita Len

Then North Park dinner with Tita Len, Abi and Jao.
(Kailangan Chinese parati? Kirin and North Park. Hahaha!)

And the ride home.

No better way to do it. Just us. :)
Love you sister!

Diva Break by Beauty Bar

I was lucky to be invited to join the Diva Break by Beauty Bar, Dashing Diva and CBTL last Wednesday. My very question upon the invite was what the program would be about. And to my surprise, they told me there wasn't any.

The Diva Break was really about pampering bloggers and giving them the much-needed break from work or the week stress.

And my heart skipped a beat. How could things be so timely?

I got myself a Spoiled Diva Pedicure. Dashing Diva describes this as:
For feet in need of some real “T.L.C.” Includes extra work on rough, callused areas and a unique micro-dermabrasion treatment. Then there’s 10 minutes of foot and leg massage (we even bring out the timer!). And did we mention there’s a special foot wrap? 45 minutes later, your feet will thank you “big time” for the extra attention.

I wanted to sleep but I wanted to feel every bit of it as well so I just requested magazines to max the experience.

After they finish my painting my toenails, they led us to a drying station near the entrance area. I think it was cool that they had drying stations like that. The only problem I had was how I couldn't let myself be stationed to just one place (without being pampered). So my attention span was everyone, considering that we were in a make-up store. How could you possibly just sit and not look around?

So confident as I was that my toenails were already dry enough, we went around, checked items and then went to CBTL.

The CBTL in Beauty Bar is unlike the regular Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf branches that you see. This coffee shop is much simpler and quite very minimalist. They're also promoting the CBTL (the device below) and the different flavors of their capsules.

I've already seen this a year ago when they promoted the device in the coffee shop. But I didn't know that they could also serve it with froth or that I could also order ice tea using the CBTL.

So after my pampering experience in Dashing Diva, I helped myself with cold English Breakfast tea.

And to top the Diva Break even more, I got myself a beauty kit from Beauty Bar.

At least give me a reason not to fall in love with my Wednesday. But I doubt you can. :P

Thanks so much for the experience, Beauty Bar!

The Afternoon Visit in the German Fair 2012

Yes, you heard that right! The German Fair is back!

So if you're one of the people with good memories about this fair ("This was the last place where my ex boyfriend ate with my family"), then it's time for you to wear a dress today!!! (HAHAHA! You know who you are.)

The German Fair

Every October, German expats celebrate their year in the Philippines with a festival in Bonifacio High Street.

"It's so hot here. Do you want us to just eat upstairs?"
"No! We have to stay here so we can experience the German feel!!!!!"

We ate in Dursty Dursty where their waitresses were wearing German dresses. Took us forever to get our order because there were a lot of people buying as well.

I loved how casually they used the sausage slicer (that circular metal thing) and the huge local beer they poured on the sausages.

We ordered Smokey Bavarian and Fries, which was good. We wanted to order Shawarma as well but we were already full so we might just return at 6 p.m again (reason why I named this post 'The Afternoon Visit').

There were also some German booths with games, beer bar with below negative 3 degrees alcohol and more food booths actually. But when we visited awhile ago, most of them were still setting up except Dursty Dursty. Can't wait to visit again later for some early dinner snacks and then tomorrow with the family!
