Friday Video Feature: YUMIER - TUMATAKBO

Yes we used to be in a band! High school shmhighschool.
Janelle was the bassist and I was the rhythm guitarist. 

The Story
Junior year in high school, our group formed a band. We named it YUMMI. A bunch of awesome chicks with pumped up kicks. Hahaha! Anyways, the cool part was the fact that we were awarded as Band of the Year 2004 and 2005. I'd love to throw in a video of our cover of The Rembrandt's I'll be there for you but I can't find it right now.

Senior year, things changed and one of us left the band. Band name then became YUMIER from YUMMI. Hahaha!

The Video
So when the school planned a benefit concert and they invited alumni who won in the past Battle of the Bands, we were invited to play together with the other graduates. (We were just in Freshmen college then so sched was still pretty cool.) Here's our cover of Mojofly's Tumatakbo.
