The Afternoon Visit in the German Fair 2012

Yes, you heard that right! The German Fair is back!

So if you're one of the people with good memories about this fair ("This was the last place where my ex boyfriend ate with my family"), then it's time for you to wear a dress today!!! (HAHAHA! You know who you are.)

The German Fair

Every October, German expats celebrate their year in the Philippines with a festival in Bonifacio High Street.

"It's so hot here. Do you want us to just eat upstairs?"
"No! We have to stay here so we can experience the German feel!!!!!"

We ate in Dursty Dursty where their waitresses were wearing German dresses. Took us forever to get our order because there were a lot of people buying as well.

I loved how casually they used the sausage slicer (that circular metal thing) and the huge local beer they poured on the sausages.

We ordered Smokey Bavarian and Fries, which was good. We wanted to order Shawarma as well but we were already full so we might just return at 6 p.m again (reason why I named this post 'The Afternoon Visit').

There were also some German booths with games, beer bar with below negative 3 degrees alcohol and more food booths actually. But when we visited awhile ago, most of them were still setting up except Dursty Dursty. Can't wait to visit again later for some early dinner snacks and then tomorrow with the family!

Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 6!

"Is OPM dying?"

We came in late in Makati Shangri La for the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 6 press launch and this is what welcomed me. A very big question in the panel discussion with the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest endorsers. There was Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar, Jay Contreras of Kamikazee, Rico Blanco, Gloc 9, Chicosci and a lot more.

"Ang laki ng gastos ng Tanduay para lang mabigay tong concert na to. Gagastos ba naman sila ng ganto kalaki kung patay na ang OPM?" answered as a-matter-of-fact-ly by Chito.

"Padami pa ng padami mga nakikilalang banda ngayon. Sobrang masasabi kong pagaling pa ng pagaling ang OPM sa pag lipas ng panahon."

Well, I'd have to agree on that. :)

And what better welcome can there be than a glass of alcohol. Tropical Punch for my Monday afternoon!

There's Rico Blanco right there being interviewed. :)

Then we were all asked to participate and write on the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest Year 6 freedom wall.

A pledge of my support to OPM. :)

STAY ORIGINAL! LONG LIVE OPM!

And Denise being crazy as usual, wrote that. Of course she did. ;)

Can't wait for the turnout of the Rockfest! :)
